Resources to Accomplish Task
PhET Simulations
Use these interactive PhET simulations to investigate the varying models of the atoms throughout history.
The Build An Atom simulation allows you to experiment with building various atoms of varying masses and atomic numbers.
The Isotopes and Atomic Mass simulation allows you to investigate the abundance of varying isotopes and what makes an isotope.
The Rutherford Scattering simulation allows you to investigate this experiment that led to developments in atomic theory.
|
The Models of the Hydrogen Atom simulation allows you to compare the interaction of several models of the atom with light.
The Photoelectric Effect simulation allows you to investigate this experiment more closely which led to developments in the Atomic Theory.
